2016: Bridging the Gap

The second TEDxCuraçao conference took place at District 1850 in partnership with The Movies. On this night speakers from Curacao, the Netherlands, Aruba and the United States climbed the stage to tell their inspiring stories. Saturday, March 12th, ten talented speakers and 255 participants came together to listen to these ideas, to discuss them and to network.

The topics ranged from music to ‘suborbital travel’, social issues, professional flexibility, personal stability, and lastly politics and the reintegration of ex-offenders. The air conditioning problem was remedied thanks to the efforts of the TEDxCuraçao organization, as well as The Movies and the Protect air conditioning installers.
